This infographic shows the average of hours worked per week in the EU
According to this infographic made by Statista (Statista.com), last year Greek workers worked 42 hours per week, followed by Portugal, Spain and France with respectively 39, 38 and 37 hours.
At the end of this top ten, there were Ireland and Germany with an average of 35 hours worked per week and the Netherlands with just 30 hours.
It seems shifts are longer in countries more affected by the economic crisis, how could you explain it?
Do you think Europeans should work the same average of hours everywhere in Europe?
If yes, how many hours per week do you think could be the best?
