5.MADINGLEY, UNITED KINGDOM - NOVEMBER 11: A two minute silence is observed at the Cambridge American Cemetery ahead of a remembrance service on November 11, 2011 in Madingley, United Kingdom. The American Cemetery at Madingley is the only American WWII burial ground in England, and is the resting place of 3,812 American military personnel who died in the Battle of the Atlantic during World War II. The names of 5,126 Americans who gave their lives, but whose remains were never recovered or identified, are inscribed (刻) in the walls of Portland stone that surround the cemetery.
