Baby golden-headed lion tamarins(绢毛猴) hold on to their mother as their father looks on in their enclosure in the Tropicarium Zoo in Budapest, Hungary. The twins are about 3 weeks old. This highly endangered species is native in the rain forests of the eastern Brazilian states of Bahia and Minas Gerais.

Sea lion squabble

Two sea lions play on the Palomino Islands, some 5 miles from Callao's port on in Peru. In certain periods of the year, the islands house about 8,000 sea lions, making it one of the biggest colonies of these animals on the shores of Peru.

Very ladylike

Kibibi, a 2 1/2-month-old female western lowland gorilla(大猩猩), sits in her mother's arms at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C. More than 10,000 people voted in a public contest held by the Zoo and the Friends of the National Zoo to choose her name, which means "little lady" in Swahili.
