Sarah Jessica Parker is finally returning to television tonight in the new HBO dramedy "Divorce."
The series centers on Parker as Frances, a woman who lives in upstate New York with her husband and two children.
Fans shouldn't expect the actress to sip on martinis, run care-free around New York City or even mention Mr. Big. "Divorce" is not "Sex and the City" part 2 and Parker is not playing Carrie Bradshaw, the beloved character she played on HBO's "Sex and the City" for six seasons until the series went off the air in 2004.
The actress is, however, a Nelsonville, Ohio native, wife of actor Matthew Broderick and mother to three children.
Here are three other facts about SJP that you may not have known:
1. What's One of Her Favorite Movie Roles?
Her role as Rusty in "Footloose" will always be dear to her heart for "sentimental" reasons, she told ABC News.
2. What Was Her Last Date Night With Husband Matthew Broderick?
"We went to the theater, most likely, and had dinner afterwards. But that was a significant amount of time ago, like maybe right before the summer," she said.
3. What's Her Favorite Song From the Musical "Annie"?
The actress who starred in the musical said: "NYC." Obviously.
